Mt. Whitney 🏔️

Jul 18, 2022

Last weekend my Dad and I hiked Mt. Whitney, the highest peak in the contiguous United States. We did it in two days: the first we backpacked six miles to Trail Camp (~12,000 ft) in the heavy rain and hail. The second day we hiked four miles to the peak of Whitney (14,505 ft), then returned to our camp, packed up, and left. It was an amazing trip, and I’m very glad to finally be able to say I’ve hiked such an iconic mountain.
